After months of waiting, wanting, researching finally pulled the trigger on purchasing Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus Rear-Wheel Drive. Initially was going basic with black exterior, but the family wanted to me to step it up, and hence we went with Red, which came at an additional cost of $2000, and we also upgraded the wheels for another $1500.
The online buying process was simple and easy. The email confirmation of the order came within minutes of purchase submission. Enter my name, home address and driver license info to move to the next step. Skipped the step for insurance info for once I received the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Selected the payment method and saved the info. Then later that day, within 4 hours of the order, received text with delivery date and time. Pretty impressed with the fast turnaround.
Waiting for VIN assignment, after which will get a quote from insurance company and upload to site so they can plan for delivery date.
Tesla constantly updates it’s referral program to drive sales. As of May 21, 2019, the referral program offered “You and anyone using your referral code to buy a Tesla will receive 5,000 free Supercharger miles! On May 28, this will revert back to 1,000 miles. “
If you want to take advantage of my Tesla referral link to get 5,000 miles of free Supercharging on a Tesla Model S, Model X, or Model 3, here’s the link: https://ts.la/manan76930 (if someone else helped you, please use their code instead of mine). You can also use it to get a new Tesla Solar system for your home.
